mod_pagespeed not obeying .htaccess

We have an issue where mod_pagespeed is not obeying the .htaccess settings on virtual hosts and have an open thread at https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/mod-pagespeed-discuss/CM54IbhaiW4 regarding this however in both cases where mod_pagespeed is not obeying the .htaccess we are using Virtualmin so just wandering if the issue is actually with 'new' Virtualmin?

Hi,

Has anyone got any thoughts on this issue, still not been able to find the cause so still potentially some kind of issue with VirtualMin?
