execute 'service webmin stop' will affect what

my vps memory is limited. just wonder if I stop webmin service, only start webmin when I need to access webmin panel,

Is it possible? does it can affect other normal services?

Howdy,

You can stop the Webmin service if you don't need to access Webmin/Virtualmin.

Note though that it will prevent Webmin-based cron jobs from running, such as the backups. However, you could always start Webmin around the time the backups need to run.
