Is it possible to intall Virtualmin on a linux mint 17? here is what I got tryig to install:

Howdy,
Unfortunately, Linux Mint isn't one of the Virtualmin supported distros. You can see the list of supported distros here:
https://www.virtualmin.com/os-support
Since Mint is based on Ubuntu, if it's based on an Ubuntu version that Virtualmin supports, you could always try forcing the installation by modifying /etc/issue to look like Ubuntu. However, we haven't done any testing with that, and I'm not sure that it would work. But if you're really interested in pursuing Virtualmin on Linux Mint you could always give it a try :-)

thx for your responce Eric, But if im gonna buy Virtualmin, im not goona do so if I have to experiment with my OS, since im a linux noobi. thx
Howdy,
Yeah I wouldn't recommend running it on Linux Mint -- if you're interested in a solid Virtualmin Pro setup, I would recommend one of the Grade A supported OS's.
If you like Linux Mint, you might consider going with Ubuntu 12.04 or 14.04.
