Postfix not delivering to certain services?

Hello everyone,

I have the following issue... My postfix is not delivering to all email services and some of them, like its the case with hotmail, either get blocked or sometimes they go to junk. It did not happened before when I was hosting the site with Arvixe.

I currently have the domain with Namecheap, reading the IP's server.

User Simplified (One Mail Server IP Address Required) - Hostname: Mail - Mailserver IP: 145.xx.xxx.xx - Mail type: MXE

I read somewhere that this happens because it did not have a "reverse DNS" and I followed instructions on how to add that, but still having these issues...

Could please somebody help me with this, I don't know what else to do and I need to get this resolved.

Howdy,

You may want to see if your IP address is listed on an RBL... you can test that by going to a site such as this one:

http://www.anti-abuse.org/multi-rbl-check/

Just did that and it says "Not Listed", in all of them. What might be the issue?

Howdy,

How did you go about adding reverse DNS to your IP address? Normally, you'd need to work with your ISP to do that. Is that something your ISP helped with in your case?

The VPS is at Digital Ocean and the domain as mentioned before at namecheap.

I followed some steps I found online somewhere and I did it from webmin. I have not done anything within Digital Ocean.
