..your system is not ready for use by Virtualmin.

The system check was returning good and when I tried to update some packages I had to start webmin and now I have the following problem.

I hit the "Re-check and refresh configuration" button and receive: "..your system is not ready for use by Virtualmin"

I noticed that mailman error and went to "Bootup and Shutdown" like it said but receive the following error: "* Site list for mailman missing (looking for list named 'mailman') * Please create it; until then, mailman will refuse to start."

It won't let me upload the screenshots.

Howdy,

If you don't need Mailman (most folks don't), a simple way to resolve that issue would be to disable the Mailman feature. You can do that by going into System Settings -> Features and Plugins, and there you can disable the "Mailman" feature.

Just get the module off the webmin site and install, apparently it's outdated and if you try to get it off sourceforge you just get an error.

Yes, you can just disable it.

What is happening with this module exactly?

Cannot attach the one I use to correct the problem to this post sorry.

I would send a personal message instead of adding noise with a comment, but there's no PM system (or maybe I don't have enough points yet), so I'll say it here.

THANK YOU!

Andreychek - I'm using Virtualmin for the first time and your answers, including this one, around this forum have been crucial to getting me set up and running. So I just want to say thanks to you and to Welshman and remibruggerman and everyone else who helps out here.

I moderate a forum for webmasters and know that communities live and die on the strength of a few good members... so once again, thanks everyone for keeping this one alive.
