Virtualmin Mail server with cloudflare, still can't get emails

Hi,

I managed to setup a virtualmin server with DNS coming from Cloudflare and with the registrar Namecheap. The site is working but I need to be able to send/receive mail from say info@mysite.com (mysite.com is the virtualmin server).

I set all the suggested records that virtualmin advises into my cloudflare DNS records.

I understood I had to disable the DNS in virtualmin (I simply un-ticked the DNS checkbox when creating mysite.com)

Now I added a user called "info".

I have set a forwarder to my gmail address and I send some test emails from an other hotmail address I have but nothing happens, are there some logs I could check? How can I get the mail server running from here please?

Howdy,

The email logs may help out here... on CentOS those are located in /var/log/maillog, and on Debian/Ubuntu those are in /var/log/mail.log.

You'd want to verify that the email is indeed arriving from hotmail, and then see what happens when it tries to forward those to Gmail.

The mail log sends this, but I have no idea why this hong kong ip keeps coming... it's worse than I imagined to debug this whole DNS mess, I think I will give up on giving my customers email for now.
