IMAP can't connect after new installation

I've installed virtualmin on a new centos 7.0 I've restored my old servers from the centos 6.3 system.

my IMAP clients can't connect any more (something requires only "secure" authentication) - this is good, but when I try to have the live mail client access the server in secure way it can't connect.

port 143/993 is open in the firewall.

What am I missing ?

(dovecote configuration actually allows the plain text but the client says it doesn't)

Howdy,

What error(s) do you receive in your logs when trying to login with an email client? I'd suggest looking in /var/log/messages and /var/log/secure.
