Hi,
i'm running last version of webmin with virtualmin too.
There is an easy way to recompile php that is running in Cgi Mode for enable the mbstring library?
The PHP version you have there comes from your distribution vendor... if possible, the best solution would be to obtain the module from their repository. Which distribution is it that you're using though?
in this server there are 2 versions of php installed:
first: php5.4 served by apache with mod_php for zend server and mbstring works there.
second: php5-cgi - 5.4.4-14+deb amd64 that seems is not compiled with mbstring support.
Howdy,
