[SOLVED] Smtp timing out or I set it up wrong.

Ok. this maybe as simple as I put something wrong in this setting section on Tbird.

Ok to help with this here is my master.cf

smtp inet n - - - - smtp

smtp inet n - - - 1 postscreen smtpd pass - - - - - smtpd dnsblog unix - - - - 0 dnsblog tlsproxy unix - - - - 0 tlsproxy submission inet n - - - - smtpd

-o syslog_name=postfix/submission -o smtpd_tls_security_level=encrypt -o smtpd_sasl_auth_enable=yes -o smtpd_reject_unlisted_recipient=no

I have done the "Copy to Postfix" option in Server Configuration -> Manage SSL Certificates.

When I do netstat -an | grep :465 I get the following

tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:465 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN tcp6 0 0 :::465 :::* LISTEN

But this is where I am at now. A bit stuck and this is the last thing that I think is holding me back from getting on building the sites.

Adding an update,

I installed roundcube but even it will not let me send out a email to anywhere..

Ok, as I thought it was myself that had tweeked something wrong I did a reinstall of the os. Then the install of Virtualmin but smtp still does not work.

Neither can I get tbird to get info automatically.

If you could, I would like to get any help on this. # Darren
