Hi all
We've been using Virtualmin, Webmin and Cloudmin for a while now. We currently have a Cloudmin Pro license and use Virtualmin GPL, but are considering an upgrade to Pro.
We are looking to allow a 3rd party to utilise our servers on a reseller basis so that they may host their clients' websites on our setup. For this it would be great if we could give them certain rights, and I think that there are additional bits available in the Pro license for Virtualmin that will assist with this.
So on this subject I have a couple of questions.
Is there any way of getting a trial license of Pro so that we can appraise the reseller aspects of the upgrade prior to purchase?
How does the domain count work for licensing? We have a number of servers (domains) and sub servers (both domains and sub domains) configured - do the sub servers and sub domains count towards the domain count for the license we need?
Thanks in advance.
Howdy,
We unfortunately don't offer trial licenses... though there is a 45 day money back guarantee. You can have your money back during that time for any reason, no questions asked.
As far as what counts towards the license -- it's essentially "websites". If a domain has (or can have) it's own, individual website, it counts towards the license.
So a Virtual Server, Sub-Server, Sub-Domain -- those all count towards the license.
An alias does not, though, since it's just an alias of an existing domain, and has no website of it's own.
