exporting/importing to new server using admin interface

hello guys

I have two linode nodes with virtualmin/webmin installed. I tried moving over complete sites from one to the other.

I am using the export/import functionality built into webmin/virtualmin but it seems it's not transferring over the folder permissions.

Anyone had similar issues?

Howdy,

So are you just using the Backup and Restore -> Restore Virtual Server functionality?

In theory, that would maintain the same permissions you had on the previous system...

How is it different? What's an example of a change you're seeing?
