setting up DNS to resolve correctly

I have installed cloudmin on a fresh server. Currently I have a hosting running Cpanel that manages the DNS for my primary domain (e.g myhosting.com)

I have created a new zone on my main server with Cpanel for cloudmin.myhosting.com When creating VPS on cloudmin server, it creates a new subdomain, eg. test1.cloudmin.myhosting.com How to have this resolve correctly instead of going to my main server and add test1 to cloudmin zone?
