Upgrading to php 5.4/5.5 with virtualmin/ubuntu server

I've been trying to find some guidance on how to upgrade my PHP in virtualmin. I've searched for about 4 hours and found nothing so if anyone can end my misery and offer a solution to have PHP 5.4/5,5 on ubuntu server for virtualmin I'd much appreciate it :)
