Apache is downloading index.html

I don`t know where the problem is but Apache server is downloading index.html file instead of show it in browser. It used to work if a I added this lines in vhost configuration for public_html directory: AddHandler cgi-script .cgi AddHandler server-parsed .html but is not working anymore. Don`t know what to do next. ?? Please help me !
