A user is having a problem when attaching files in Usermin. The file is scan0001.tif When attached the file looks like scan0001.tif but when the email is received by the recipient the name of the attachment is changes to scan0001.tif.lnk and won’t open. Any idea why and how to fix this for my user?

It sounds like what's being attached may actually be a shortcut (a link), rather than the file itself.
What you may need to do is find where the actual file is located, and attach that rather than what's currently being attached.
