Yup! It's no problem to migrate from one distro to another, or one architecture to another.

Also, I wanted to mention that there's instructions on here on performing a migration:

But i noticed, i cannot switch php working mode from fcgi to any other option via the gui. When i try, virtualmin pretends working on it (e.g. to switch to cgi), but, after going back to the configuration page, fcgi was still active. Is that behaviour normal on gpl?
