Hi,
I've created a new user in my virtualmin account, set him to root group and /bin/bash shell. He's our system admin, but I didn't want to give him the root account.
Can you help me as he is unable to make changes in folders in my server using Filezilla. This is the error message that is showing - open for write: permission denied Error: File transfer failed
Please help me, I'm new to virtualmin.
Regards, George
Being a member of the root group doesn't mean he has root access right. If the file permissions are set so that he has no write access, being in the root group doesn't help.
For more suggestions we need to know more details, I.e.which filed are affected and what's their permissions /ownership?
