First, I want you to know that Webmin & Virtualmin have made my life as a web developer so much easier. I can't live without them now. Thanks to you and Joe. ;-p
OK, the purpose of this ticket is to make a suggestion on Webmin's File Manager.
FILE MANAGER is THE most used module for me as a developer (I am not a web hosting company). Believe it or not, I use it to build web applications and change scripts. I love it.
There are 2 features that would make it PURRRFECT.
1. Line number - The current version does not display the line numbers on the left edge. It is critical for troubleshooting.
2. FIND function at EDIT mode - The FIND function only works downwards. That is, if the cursor is half way down the page, the search will only be carried out for the bottom half. It does not, as one would expect, loop the search back up to the top of the document and start the search again from the top.
I was wondering if this module is available as a third-party application somewhere, or did you write it yourself? I was looking high and low for a newer version of this module, that has the above 2 features, but couldn't find it.
Please advise.
