Just a little suggestion that would help me very much in the management of my ip address space. Cloudmin is trying to ping to see if the IP is in use. If no reply, then it's marked as free.
If a firewall blocked this ping, then when a new assignement is done, It could take this IP and enter in conflit.
We could use Block to just block this IP, but we can't say why we blocked it.
When, an IP is marked as In Use or blocked, the system seems to count this IP as free even if we cannot use it.
Also, when I delete an OpenVZ, the IP address is not released.
It would be great to be able to edit the "In use", Blocked, "Free" to change to an hostname or say it is reserved.
It would also be great to be able to choose a "block" of ip to assign automaticly from.
