Hi. I have problems with fresh install virtualmin. Vps Centos 6, 4096 Mb Openvz.
Only Real memory 1024 MB total, and Postfix Mail Server not start.
"The Postfix server does not appear to be installed on your system, or has not yet been set up properly in Webmin's Postfix Configuration module. If you are running a different mail server, select it on the module configuration page."
A week ago instaled virtualmin in this vps witth no problem.
can you help? Thks.
Hi. What happens when you start the postfix server?
Error while checking current Postfix configuration. Please manually fix Postfix configuration.
postfix: fatal: parameter inet_interfaces: no local interface found for ::1
What interfaces are configured in webmin > networking >network configuration > network interfaces?
That to me looks as though it is looking for a virtual interface - I may be wrong though

Howdy,
What output do you receive if you run the command "postconf -n"?

If you don't require ipv6 support, you could set the inet_protocols line you have to this:
inet_protocols = ipv4
And then restart Postfix:
/etc/init.d/postfix restart
Hi, work fine. Now all I need why I have only recognizes 1024 of real memory, when in vps have 4096.
Thanks all for your attention, greetings.
Howdy,
What does the command "free -m" show?
-Eric
[root@vps ~]# free -m
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 4096 471 3624 0 0 137
-/+ buffers/cache: 334 3761
Swap: 0 0 0
Okay, and where are you seeing it say 1024MB of memory?
-Eric
In the first page of panel virtualmin where is the features resume.
Solved memory info with update "Fixes total and free memory display on OpenVZ systems".
