virtualmin installation question about hostname

hello wizards -

when i install virtualmin, i am being asked the following question

Please enter a fully qualified hostname (for example, host.example.com):

where is this value being written to? just the /etc/hosts file ?

the reason i ask is because i am wondering if/when i want to change it in the future.

Howdy,

It sets your actual hostname, and adds that into /etc/postfix/main.cf, and the /etc/hosts file.
