Joomla install stops on SQL creation

Hello,

I'm trying to install Joomla 2.5.11 (from official website) on my brand new ubuntu+virtualmin install.

Installation worked like a charm.

just after filling the mysql informations for installation I click on next and then the mysql process starts to create the tables and fill them.

The topic is the tables are not all filled and when the process is finished I return to the same page I was instead of the next one.

Did someone already had that king of trouble ?

Howdy,

I haven't heard of any problems like what you're describing. If you look in $HOME/logs/error_log, do you see any errors listed there?
