+1 for this, I'd be interested to see NR individual app monitoring in Virtualmin out of the box as it's too painful to manage the NR daemon for many sites individually.
New Relic integration for per app monitoring per vhost would be awesome! I'd like to see this in Apache as well. If I understand correctly, you basically just have to pass in a php variable from the config.

Just checking in to see if there's been any movement on this? We'd love to see NR app monitoring on this host as currently it's very manual to edit vhost files :(

4 years later and still no built-in support for this?
Nope. It's not come up very often; this is the only thread on the topic we've seen, and NewRelic is pretty application specific isn't it? I mean, what would Virtualmin even be able to do about it, given that New Relic becomes useful when you integrate your applications with it.
I'd be happy to answer questions from anyone working on a plugin to provide some sort of support. We have docs about making Webmin modules here, as well: https://doxfer.webmin.com/Webmin/Module_Development (A Virtualmin plugin is just a specialized Webmin module with some extra hooks and access to a few extra variables that identify the domain being managed.)
What would you want a Virtualmin plugin for New Relic to do, exactly?
