Sure, it's no problem at all to use Virtualmin GPL for hosting. A lot of folks do that, actually.
The only reason to go to Virtualmin Pro is if there's some feature you're interested in.
The most popular features of Virtualmin Pro are the 100+ Install Scripts, the Reseller support, and the Premium Support in the Support Tracker.
