i have a problem with how to best monitor machine alerts (for the machine, not for individual sites on it)...
some cron jobs send emails to root, some send to other places, some status monitor jobs send to other places etc.
it would be good if we can somehow configure what email account to send all big cron jobs, system status, etc, for our virtualmin/usermin/webmin systems.
so that all "uh oh this machine is in trouble" emails be sent to 1 place.
or maybe i just didnt find the option...

Unfortunately cron has its own separate system for sending email messages. However you can control which address it sends to for root cron jobs at System -> Scheduled Cron Jobs, by defining the MAIL environment variable and setting it to the correct address.
In Virtualmin, the address for most alerts can be set at System Settings -> Bandwidth Monitoring.
For other global alerts sent by Webmin, you can control the address at Others -> System and Server Status -> Scheduled Monitoring.
