Webmin message after setting up IP Access Control. "Error - Access denied for". How to disable it?

I would like to know how to disable that message "Error - Access denied for 192.168.1.85" after I setup allow only specific IPs in Webmin->Webmin Configuration->IP Access Control.

I just would like to know how to just show empty page instead of this message. Silence is gold in this case I'd say. :)

I suppose you could edit language files to do that but it's a different story! Is there a normal way of doing it?

Thanks again for fantastic product! I can't even think of using CPanel anymore.. I love Webmin & Virtualmin more and more each time I'm using it on my test server, and as long as I get myself private server I will get a full time license to appreciate your work!

Respectively, Ilia

Howdy,

Unfortunately, there's no way to disable those. The access denied errors are actually hard coded into Webmin.

It's essentially just throwing a "403 forbidden" there, and the Webmin headers being sent would also show it's an access problem (that is, the HTTP headers show what the HTTP status code is).

Eric, I see! But I would personally like to see it being possible in the future. I don't see why it would be hard to add one more check-mark to IP Access Control section being able to check it in case you want to hide HTTP messages.

If you could do it in next release than good. If not, then not. Not that big of a deal!

Thanks, Ilia
