I seem to keep fighting with the BIND
my nameservers have recursive lookup which is unwanted.
Setting it to no will solve it, but then no emails from the system can be send.
I think this has to do that by default the BIND installation is a caching nameserver, but preferred is an authoritative nameserver.
after another day of studying this, I turn to you again.
What must be done to have non recursive nameservers but still be able to have email send/receive from the system (and do a whois in the system)?
