We don't have a record of a Virtualmin license belonging to this account, though I can see a renewal that was purchased.

Your renewal was actually applied automatically when purchasing it. Renewals are applied from the time the license expired, rather than from now.
However, since it doesn't appear that you were using your license over that time period, I've updated your license extension to be from today.
