Network Interfaces not starting

This is kind of driving me crazy. I have 5 network interfaces which are supposed to start on boot but I have yet to get them to work properly and start on bootup.

eth0, and loopback start just fine.

eth0:1 eth0:2 eth0:3 etc.... will not start

They are shown as start on boot up, easily applied from the interface, but will not automatically start. Every time I reboot the system, I have to go to Network Interfaces, click select all for on boot and apply. Then they start no problem.
