Is it possible to rename guest disk files?

As a result of multiple cloning the guest image's name is becoming too long like

fist.hostname.net.img-second.hostname.net

Of course, it doesn't matter as long as it doesn't harm the functionality, however purely out of aesthetic tastes I'd like to make it shorter, if possible. Is it?

Instructions on http://www.virtualmin.com/documentation/cloudmin/disks don't contain anything related to renaming the files themselves.
