virtual-server user has too much ftp access!

hello all - and MERRY CHRISTMAS to all.....

i tried FTP'ing using a virtual-server name, and i discovered from /home/marksVirtualServer.com i could just do a

cd .. (or cd space dot dot )

and suddenly i can see all other servers!

is there any way to block this?
