Hi All,
I'm on my second migration now on the same server... still in love w/ Virtualmin.
That said, I'm not sure what the file permissions should be for my mailman directories on Ubuntu 12.x LTS.
Could someone check their permissions for me ?
Old System (CentOS 5.x) : /var/lib/mailman : drwxrwsr-x 2 root mailman
New System (Ubuntu 12.x) : /var/lib/mailman : some junk
There is no mailman user on the new system, so I'm guessing there is a different scheme in place here.
thanks much! -m
Finally found it -- the group name changed from mailman to 'list'
chown -R root:own /var/lib/mailman service mailman start
et viola.
