one user having control to multiple servers.

hi all -

i have several "virtual servers" and i wanted to give FTP access to all four using one username.

i know i could make all four part of one group and then manually create some ftp user, with a home directory containing symbolic links to the four public_html files, but i was hoping to see if there was a cleaner way, preferably using some slick virtualmin option i have not heard of yet.

thoughts?

Howdy,

Yeah, the best way for doing that would be to make all four Sub-Servers of a top-level account -- and then create an FTP user within that account, which would have access to all four domains.

Or you could just create 4 individual FTP users if you prefer.

Those are the best ways though :-)
