Creating Virtual Servers as Subdomains

Hello

When I used to use Cpanel/WHM I was able to create accounts in WHM for family members using a subdomain of the main domain. So for example if my main domain was domain.com then I was able to create a hosting account for a family member somathing like this familymember.domain.com this meant that he could use that account then to host his addon domains.

Can this be done with virtualmin and if it can how am I able to do this please.

Thank you in advance for your time and help.

Yes, this is possible. The easiest way would be probably to create a new Virtualserver and simply enter familymember.domain.com in the domain field.

This would create a separate hosting account that could be managed by the linux/virtualmin user familymember (you can change the default settings in Virtualmin with menu system settings - server templates)
