Document root needs to point to domain

I've only just set up Virtualmin (as a module after I installed Webmin), and I've created a couple of domains to check I've got things set up correctly. I don't...

I noticed that when visiting both domains in a browser they always pointed to /var/www/

I went to Webmin > Servers > Apache Webserver and changed the apache Document Root value from /var/www to Default. Now looking at the directives it looks like each domain is just pointing to the root directory ( "/" ) instead of /home//public_html/

Does anyone know the correct settings I should have in both Webmin + Virtualmin?

Thanks for any help.

Howdy,

If at all possible -- I'd highly recommend performing your installation using the install.sh in the Download link above, rather than doing a manual installation of the Virtualmin module.

A manual installation will require quite a bit of setup :-)

However, if you want to do a manual install, you can see instructions for setting that up here:

I managed to find the solution to this in the end: under "Features and Plugins" I didn't have Apache website installed. Which of course makes absolute sense now!
