How to install virtualmin, without the Dependencies?

Hello Support or Users,

I would like to add virtualmin to my webmin, i already installed the programs i like to use and most dependencies that would be installed with virtualmin i do not want to have or already have installed.

Dependencies: Apache (see note below) BIND Postfix procmail SpamAssassin ClamAV Dovecot ProFTPd MySQL (optional) PostgreSQL (optional) Mailman (optional)

BIND i already have installed with yum, but the other programs i really don't need.(*i will try to run a NginX based website) I found your manual install page, but it doesn't give any example or where to get virtualmin. You write: http://software.virtualmin.com/gpl/wbm - wbm format modules http://software.virtualmin.com/gpl/universal - RPM format modules

But how is the source from virtualmin called?

Howdy,

Well, the simplest way to install and configure Virtualmin is using the install.sh script. You can install Virtualmin without using that, but it's more complex to do so -- it'll require a lot more time and technical expertise.

If you don't wish to use the automated install.sh script, you can use the manual installation instructions that you saw.

What you can do is just install the Virtualmin RPM file that's available in the repository mentioned in the manual installation guide, which I don't believe has any dependencies:

http://software.virtualmin.com/gpl/universal/wbm-virtual-server-3.90.gpl...

Let us know if that does the trick for you.
