So This has started up again

connect to spamd on 127.0.0.1 failed, retrying (#1 of 3): Connection timed out

Can anyone tell me what I need to do to resolve this. sometimes it works and sometimes it stops.

Howdy,

Well, that says retrying 1 of 3 -- does it end up being successful on that second or third attempt?

Also, you may want to to verify that SpamAssassin is running... do you see a "spamd" process? If not, you'd want to start it up. How to do that depends on your distro.

no it's not successful. And yes spamd is running.
