Updates 'hanging'

Hi,

I have 53 updates waiting but whenever I select the update option I get the following (with any update selected)

Now updating apache2-doc .. Installing package(s) with command apt-get -y install apache2-doc ..

The system does not change or do anything else. Sites are still available to view but options in the left panel of virtualmin and webmin show

"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"

The only way to get virtualmin back is a server restart with power off then on again.

Howdy,

I'm curious what happens if you attempt that update from the command line.

What output do you get if you run this command as root:

apt-get update && apt-get upgrade
