Hi.
I've made a backup file on local (_backup) drive. It was full backup. Then I bought an FTP server. Then I scheduled "incremental" backup to an FTP server.
Now my FTP server only has "incremental" backup files.
So basically Virtualmin is making incremental backups from the old full backup files, somewhere in the server.
Where can I find those old "full backup" files?
Thank you!
Howdy,
The paths used to store backups are configured in Backup and Restore -> Scheduled Backups -- from there, you can see any backup schedules... you can review those to determine where the backups are being stored.
As far as how it determines what files to include in an incremental backup -- I believe it does that based on the file creation/modification date... which if true, means you don't actually need to have the full backups accessible to Virtualmin.
