Virtualmin + LDAP - domain rename FAIL

In an effort to resolve an issue with mail relaying (http://www.virtualmin.com/node/19424) I've looked at renaming a domain as part of a workaround.

I have virtualmin configured to store users in LDAP.

After renaming the domain virtualmin is leaving all the original "mailLocalAddress" LDAP entries intact, resulting in postfix continuing to deliver mail to those addresses!

Any suggestions?
