Howdy,

You can see the list of supported distributions and versions here:

http://www.virtualmin.com/os-support.html

Only the Ubuntu LTS releases are supported, so that's Ubuntu 8.04 and 10.04.

What kind of issues is Ubuntu having with MySQL?

Maybe we should try to fix those, before switching distros, because Ubuntu is based on Debian, and chances are that you'll run into the same trouble there. And basically MySQL (and the whole of Virtualmin) runs just fine on the LTS Ubuntus.

As for your question, what's the problem exactly? The image shows Debian 5 and 6 for i386 and amd64 in the dropdown list, all of which are supported by Virtualmin.

hello sir, in Ubuntu phpmysql gave me this error ''The additional features for working with linked tables have been deactivated.'' i try to add ( $cfg['Servers'][$i]['tracking'] = 'pma_tracking'; ) this line to my config but error still there.. i did restart clean my internet chase etc..

i decided to try debain while waiting for any reply on this forum. after installing this OS i got a different error '' Server running with Suhosin.'' so i try to look for help and found a solution to disable it by adding ''php_flag suhosin.simulation On'' but the error won't go away..

i'm still testing OS with virtualmin so if anything comes up that works fine i will continue with that OS bcause i really like virtualmin.

thank you sir.
