Hi, i recently clean restore my VPS and installed virtualmin. Then i create virtual server using virtualmin and enable SSL. I bought a ssl from namecheap and install it successfully. after that i try to use it on my site but it show the old unsigned version of the SSL. but when i import the cert into Webmin, the Webmin show no error.
My site show my this error (Error code: sec_error_untrusted_issuer). Can anyone tell me what is the problem here or how can i fix it. Thanks.
This is a unrelated question, I have a CentOS 5.6 and when i successfully installed Httpd 2.2.19 and the virtualmin installer can not continue to install. Can this be fix?
Howdy,
The "sec_error_untrusted_issuer" error suggests that you may need add an "intermediate certificate", or "CA certificate", along with your SSL certificate.
The company you purchased your SSL certificate from should provide that for you.
You can add that extra certificate in Server Configuration -> Manage SSL Certificates -> CA Certificate.
As far as your HTTPD/installer question goes -- I'd suggest putting that into a new forum thread, putting more than one topic in a thread causes things to get confusing pretty quickly :-)
Make sure you include any error messages you're seeing. Actually, you may want to attach your full /root/virtualmin-install.log file.
