When I create a new mail user in Virtualmin, the user is created, but I get this error: "Failed to save mailbox : Failed to write to /home/brico/homes/brian/.maildir/ when closing : Bad file descriptor"
When I look in the /homes directory under that domain, I see that the user directory (in this case, brian) has been created, but the .maildir directory has not been created. If I go to that user in the users list, and change the "Send updated account email to:" setting to send to the address for that user, and then click save, it creates all of the necessary directories.
I have tried changing the "Send new account email to:" setting before creating the account with the same result. Is there something I am missing?
Mmm, do you know if you by chance changed a default along the way?
Normally, Virtualmin uses a mail directory named "Maildir", so I'm surprised to see an error about a directory named ".maildir".

Anything is possible. I didn't actually set it up because I have no idea what I am doing. A friend set it all up when it was all on a different server. When I moved to this one, I copied the config files as best I could. I may have messed all this stuff up though. I can't believe that is the problem, though. If so, why would it work with an update of the user?
