Installation on CentOS 5 minimal x86

My post is too long so it isn't displayed I am attaching the doc format of it. Please help me out with the installation

So, it looks like things seem to keep hanging whenever yum is being used to install a package.

What if you just try running a "yum upgrade" from the command line as root -- does that complete successfully, or do you run into any issues with that?
