Can't send email from Thunderbird, but I can from my iPhone

When I try to send email from Thunderbird with SSL turned on I get this, but if I send email with my iPhone from the same internet connection and account with SSL it goes through. Any idea what's causing this. I'm using Centos 5.5 with Virtualmin 3.82 gpl.

Howdy,

It looks like something with saslauthd is awry... I'd suggest trying a couple of things.

First, if you setup Thunderbird to use port 465 with SSL, does that work?

If not, I'd suggest verifying in /etc/postfix/master.cf, that SMTPS (port 465) is uncommented. After restarting Postfix, give it another try from Thunderbird.

Yes Thunderbird is using 465 with SSL and it doesn't work, yet port 465 with SSL works with my iPhone. /etc/postfix/master.cf has SMTPS uncommented.
