Can not get Email - "Couldn't sync mailbox"

Hi, this is probably a very basic question :)

I am using Mozilla Thunderbird to retrieve email from my server that is running VirtualMin.

I get the following error message:

"The STAT command did not succeed. error getting message number and sizes. Mail Server mail.mydomain.com responded: Couldn't sync mailbox."

How do I correct this problem so that I can get any new emails ?

Howdy,

That can happen if you're user is over quota... I'd suggest verifying that the email user, as well as the Virtual Server as a whole, is under quota.
