Virtualmin and webmin

Along with virtualmin even webmin installs with virtualmin. Can I uninstall webmin ? Any tips to reduce memory usage (256 mb) ?

Howdy,

Virtualmin is a Webmin module... so you have to have Webmin to be able to use Virtualmin.

Yeah, 256MB of RAM is a bit low for running a web server with the full Virtualmin stack. With that little RAM, you'll definitely be doing a lot of work to keep processes from consuming all of your available RAM.

In the "Disable unnecessary services" section, you may want to add "Mailman" to that list. I'd recommend disabling it, along with any other unnecessary services.
