Hi... I'm new around here but this a basic question that i can answer i believe. I don't like to see questions remain open for a long time like this one. (sorry for the bump)
What do I set my domain nameservers ?
Go to your Registrar and choose the domain name you want to manage your nameservers and just... manage them.
Is it possible to compress the files on the server ?
Depends on what you are talking about. If you are talking about backups, the system is already compressing the backup files to what you choose. But if you are talking about any file, you can also by loggin via ssh or directly to the server and compress the files that you want by hand.

I'd think this question remained unanswered for so long since it was not really clear what the question was meant to mean. ;-)
