ssl

Hello

I've got a problem about configuration , first of all i've got these configuration

1º Gateway + dhcp+shorewall and works fine 2º Web server with some clients 3º web server conect to gateway and then go to the cloud

before these configuration i 've got a web server with nat so one ip private and sharing these ip with another virtual servers.

And now how i configured virtualmin prof to put another virtual interfaces? and put ssl for each ip private? i need to change share ip for another ip public ip or not?

In these moments my configuration is very similar like a NAT , with one ip private sharing becouse i' ve got clients.

Howdy,

So just to clarify, you're saying your Virtualmin server is behind a NAT router?

That makes this a bit more complex :-)

If it's behind a NAT router, in order to add more than one IP address to your Virtualmin server, you'd need to have multiple public IP addresses on your router (a feature most routers don't support).

Then, for each public IP address on your router, you can add one to Virtualmin by going into Edit Virtual Server -> IP address and interfaces, and add an internal IP where it says "Virtual interface".

At that point, you would need to configure your NAT router to forward the external IP's into the internal IP's on your Virtualmin server.

It was, yes and it was for me very complex but i do it and work since may of these year 2010

Hello

I've got thes probelm apache 2 , when i've tried to work with Virtualmin server that was behind a NAT router i do a lot of changes and now i dont know what i need to do. I 've changed configuration in apache with ip interfaces so what ip i must put in apache that work it properly ? becouse when i tried to put the virtual ip now it's not work.

the circunstances is these

IP private with open behind nat , and then i put these ip adress in apache in each server and then works.

Now , i don't know how to reconfigure apache with these .

And the other problem si that if i put an ssl for one of website apache is down becouse i've got an error and then if i change ip inn apache everithings works.
