Since the last update of Virtualmin and Webmin I have been experiencing problems managing the MySQL dbs. Every time I try to view/manage a db I receive the following error: “SQL select table_schema,table_name from information_schema.views failed : Lost connection to MySQL server during query”.
I have been trying to fix this, but without any luck. I have changed the php.ini settings and I have extended the timeout and execution times to where they should be sufficient, but that’s not the problem.
The problem only exists within webmin and virtualmin and possibly when using MySQLi. The sites I host, which utilize MySQL, function properly and are able to write and query the dbs fine. I have one site, which utilizes MySQLi, doesn’t function. It is able to query, but not able to write, that might be a secondary issue.
Main issue is that after the latest updates I am no longer able to manage the MySQL dbs through webmin or virtualmin.
